Categories

Every category in the library.

A category is one design language: the same grid, the same page types, the same fill gates. Pick the language first, then the pack inside it.

The categories, in the order they ship.

8 categories, 10 packs. The page types listed under each category are the ones every pack in that category ships — the intersection, not a marketing summary.

How a category is defined

A category groups packs that share one design language and one page-type vocabulary, so a deck assembled from one category reads as one system rather than a collage. Categories are registered in the site code against factory pack ids — a pack belongs to exactly one, and page types are read from the built pack, never typed by hand.

Packs published by the factory before a category is registered land in Template: they are on sale, but the site does not claim a design language for them until one is registered.

Two packs side by side? The compare page puts page types, licence and price in one table.
